This document outlines using the ROISCAN.vbs tool. This tool offers debugging level logging for patch content related issues. Should a LANDESK technician request the ROISCAN be ran on a machine, this document outlines how.

Steps

• Download ROISCAN.zip that is attached to this document and extract its contents
• Within the extracted contents, locate ROISCAN.vbs
• Run ROISCAN.vbs with Administrator rights
• As ROISCAN.vbs runs, it will show a console window

• The tool has finished running when the console window closes
• Once finished, a file will be created: %temp%\{MachineName}_ROIScan.log

Example: "C:\Users\Nevans\AppData\Local\Temp\NEVANS-PC_ROIScan.log"
