LANDESK Management Suite 9.5
Description
You set up "Configure Device Monitoring" from the LANDESK Management Console and you noticed that no ping is sent to machines that are listed in the field "Monitor these devices"
Cause
The processes LDDevmon.exe and LDpingProvider.exe are not running on your Core
Resolution
- Edit the C:\program files (x86)\LANDesk\LDClient\LANDesk.provider.core.collector.startup.xml and make sure it contains all the necessary providers (see below).
- Then either run C:\program files (x86)\LANDesk\LDClient\collector.exe to load the LANDESK providers or reboot the Core if necessary.
