Problem/Symptoms:
When logging in to the web console you see the following warning:
"The number of concurrent users actively using this product exceeds the number of available licenses. Please contact your system administrator to obtain more licenses."
This warning is only a nag message. It does not prevent the user from logging in and using the web console.
Cause:
The number of concurrent web console users that have access to the asset tab exceeds the number of concurrent user licenses. The asset tab is where production asset administration is performed, so that is where the licenses are counted.
Resolution:
Any of the following may help to resolve the issue:
1) Purchase additional concurrent user licenses from LANDesk.
2) Reduce the number of concurrent users in the web console.
3) Reduce the number of users that have access to the asset tab.
To see how many concurrent user licenses you have, follow these steps on your server:
Start > Programs > LANDesk Service Management > License Activation > Licenses
