Description: Bulk update on column other than Lifecycle state Fails - Screen flashes and nothing happens - Error Value Cannot Be Null.Parameter
1) Select bulk update
2) The screen flashes and nothing happens
3) When bulk updating on Lifecycle state it works fine
The following error may be displayed:
Warning
Invalid state transition on instance ID: 41; error: Value cannot be null.Parameter name: collection
The Web.Log has the following (...\LANDesk\Service Management\Log\Web.log):

Example:
1) Open the ALM Web Application
2) Click on the Asset tab
3) Click on Reports
4) Go to Reports | Asset | Assets by Status | All Assets
5) Click the button labeled Settings
6) Click the Setting section
7) Put a check in the box "Allow Bulk Update" column, "Location Name" row
8) Save the report
9) Run the report
10) Click the "Bulk Update" drop down and select Location Name

Resolution:
Apply the following patch to the ALM server:
http://community.landesk.com/downloads/ServicePack/ALMPatch-3.0.1.10.exe
NOTE: This issue is resolved in ALM version 3.5
