Problem/Question
Where does Avalanche store my database connection information in case I need to recover it or edit it? It is necessary to edit the files in this jar if you are using an external database and the database location has changed.
Solution
AvalancheMC's stores DB connection information in the avalanchesupport.jar file. This jar file is located in the following location; \Program Files\Wavelink\AvalancheMC\lib\avalanchesupport.jar
STOP ALL WAVELINK SERVICES PRIOR TO EDITING
You will need to open the jar file using 7zip and then open the dao-factory.xml, dao-factory-ss.xml, dao-factory-ss-es.xml and the quartz.avaserver.properties files to view or change the database connection info that AvalancheMC uses.
