Query - Find Servers or Non Servers

Purpose

How to query for if a machine is a Server.

Include Servers

Exclude Servers

Steps

• Create a New Query.
  • In Network View, expand Core Name, expand Queries, right click My Queries or Public Queries, choose New Query.
    

-Include Servers

1. Name the New Query.
2. Under Machine Components navigate to Computer > {...}
3. Select the Like operator
   
4. Under Edit Values, type Microsoft Windows Server
5. Select Insert.
6. Select Save.

-Exclude Servers

1. Name the New Query.
2. Under Machine Components navigate to Computer > {...}
3. Select theNot Like operator.
4. Under Edit Values, type Microsoft Windows Server
5. Select Insert.
6. Select Save.
