“Activation Failed: Maximum number of activations reached” / How to manually activate / import Avalanche licenses

Problem/Issue:

• I tried to add my licenses to the AMC server and I got the following error message: "“Activation Failed: Maximum number of activations reached”"
• How do I manually Activate my license?
• How do I import my license back into Avalanche?

Resolution:

To manually activate / import Avalanche licenses follow these steps

1. Go to a computer with an internet connection

2. Go to www.wavelink.com/activation

3. To get the Hardware Node Lock go to AMC 5.x and higher go to Help > About Avalanche

4. Type in the Node Lock in the activation box

5. Type in the License Key number

6. Save the file where ever you would like.

7. In AMC go to Tools, Manage Licenses.

8. Click on Add a License

9. Click on Import a License

10. Locate the license file where you saved it (Step 6) and import.
