How enable Data Analytics content updates
** Applies to LDDA 9.52 and higher running on an LDMS 9.5 sp1 core and higher.
New to LDDA 9.52 and above is content updates delivered via LDMS content(Patch) manager.
In order to enable LDDA content you have to have the following installed on your LDMS 9.5 or 9.6 core.
- LDMS 9.6
Note: LDDA 9.6 ship with LDMS 9.6
OR
- LDMS 9.5 SP2
With
- LDDA 9.6
OR
- LDDA 9.53
Once any needed patches have been applied and the core rebooted - if reboot was ignored during the patch install process.
1) Open Patch and Compliance (All screenshots are from 9.5)
2) Click on the download updates icon (yellow diamond with black arrow point down)
3) Place a check mark in LANDESK 9.X software updates.
4) Click download now
5) Once complete close download window and the Download updates window
6) Go back into download updates
7) There will now be a LANDESK Data Analytics Updates Definition type
8) Place a check in LANDESK Data Analytics Updates
9) Click on Schedule Download
10) Give the task a name that make sense: I.E. Data Analytics Content update
11) Set the newly created scheduled task to repeat as desired- recommendation is weekly.
When new LDDA content is discovered and downloaded, it will be automatically installed and then when the services run at midnight(default) the new/updated rules will be applied.
