Description:
Integration between ALM and Service Desk 7.4 , and higher, is broken in ALM 5.0 flat and below. Our Development team has released a patch that will fix this issue. Update to patch 5.0.6 (Note: 5.0.1 makes ALM work with .NET 4 which is the first step for integration)
Resolution:
1- The touchpaper DLL's need to be manually copied. (Note: This is just all of the DLL's that start with "Touchpaper")
From: C:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\Service Desk\WebApp\Framework\bin
To: C:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\Service Management and C:\Program File (x86)\LANDesk\Service Management\Web\bin
2- Configured the Service Desk server as an integration server on the ALM Core. Tools - Settings - Integration Servers. As shown below you will need the Framework URL for Service Desk and a username/password. The Framework URL can be found in the Console.exe.config file near the top of the file.
