How to remove Studio COM licenses from server?
Environment:
Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 or XP
Studio COM server
Here are the steps to removing the Studio COM Licenses:
In the registry on the server go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Point Information Network/RFMonitor
This is your server license ( NT/95). There are other folders in the RFMonitor >Upgrade1, Upgrade 2,etc. with additional licenses.
The last Upgrade folder should be blank.
You will remove the licenses by right clicking on the Folder and Select Delete.
To put the licenses into the new server, you will put them in the same way you installed the original licenses.
